Transformation Manager

(12-Month FTC)

Location: Isle of Wight (2 days per week on-site)

Salary: Up to £85,000

We are seeking a proven Transformation Manager to play a pivotal role in a major highways, maintenance and infrastructure programme on the Isle of Wight. This is part of a significant long-term (20+ year) infrastructure development initiative, currently midway through delivery, with a strong focus on driving improvements and bringing key projects back on track.

This is a high-impact opportunity for someone with a background shaping programme performance, embed cultural change, and strengthen governance across a complex, multi-stakeholder environment.

The Role

As their Transformation Manager, you will work across three core workstreams and 20+ active initiatives, ensuring alignment, pace and delivery excellence across the programme. You will collaborate closely with consultancies, local councils, delivery partners and other key stakeholders to drive measurable change and improved outcomes.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading and driving lead a multi-stakeholder transformation programme
  • Managing and aligning multiple workstreams to ensure cohesive delivery
  • Embedding robust governance, tracking and reporting (including RAID logs)
  • Driving cultural and behavioural change across teams and stakeholders
  • Ensuring procedural and contract processes are aligned and consistently applied
  • Strengthening stakeholder relationships to enable collaboration and accountability
  • Supporting recovery activity to bring projects back on track

About You

You are a confident, delivery-focused transformation professional with experience operating within large, complex environments, bringing:

  • Proven experience managing and driving large programmes and multiple workstreams
  • Strong relationship management, communication and organisational skills across diverse stakeholder groups.
  • Demonstrable experience driving cultural and procedural change
  • Hands-on experience maintaining governance controls including RAID logs
  • Experience aligning operational processes with contractual requirements
  • A track record of working within PFI environments or large-scale infrastructure projects is hugely beneficial
