Senior Technician

£35-45 per hour | Outside IR35
UK-based | Five days per week on site
Target start: Early November

Maxwell Bond is partnering with a leading defence technology company to recruit a Senior Technician with experience in aerospace, advanced manufacturing or uncrewed aircraft systems.

You’ll combine hands-on electrical and mechanical expertise with day-to-day team leadership, coordinating builds, modifications and repairs while maintaining quality and improving productivity.

What you’ll do

• Carry out electrical wiring, mechanical assembly and complex fault diagnosis.
• Coordinate workloads and allocate resources across concurrent builds.
• Guide and train technicians, supporting consistent standards of workmanship.
• Resolve technical issues and adapt delivery priorities as requirements change.

What you’ll bring

• Extensive technician experience in aerospace, advanced manufacturing or uncrewed systems.
• Strong electrical and mechanical assembly skills, including complex diagnostics.
• Experience leading, mentoring or training a technical or production team.
• Strong organisation and communication skills.

Familiarity with CAA, MAA or EASA requirements and eligibility for SC clearance would be advantageous.
