I’ve been working with this client for a number of years, and they have recently opened up a new Tech Hub in Coimbra where they have grown from 0-100 tech and engineering staff in a short period of time, and due to this growth, are looking for a Principal .NET Engineer to lead a number of major product development projects.

 

 

About the Role:

 

As their Principal .NET Engineer you will be working closely with the wider product, engineering and enterprise architect teams to develop bespoke .NET eCommerce and internal platforms used globally.

 

Key Responsibilities as their Principal .NET Engineer:

 

  • Utilising your background in hands on .NET development to solve complex software engineering problems, and shape direction and processes across your team.
  • Lead a team of software engineers, not just from a technical perspective, but also fostering a great culture in your team.
  • Collaborate with wider product, design and architecture teams on major projects.
  • Driving innovation with a focus on code quality. You’ll be an expert in clean code and quality software engineering.
  • Technical skills: You will be expected to maintain a deep understanding of technical competencies, technical engineering and guide the team on any challenges. The bulk of work will be within the .NET Stack, React, Typescript, and Serverless cloud solutions (AWS and Azure).
