Location: Hybrid – Idaho (commutable or open to relocation)

The Company
We are recruiting on behalf of a SaaS company serving the electrical and construction sectors, focused on safety management and injury prevention. The platform helps organisations digitise safety processes, reduce risk, and improve compliance across field and site-based teams. The business is in a growth phase, scaling both product and engineering capabilities.
The Role
This is a hands-on, multi-hat leadership role. You will lead engineering, development, and product teams while remaining actively involved in the technology stack. The role suits a startup/scale-up experienced leader who can balance strategic vision with execution, and directly contribute to the codebase and product delivery.
Key Responsibilities

Define and execute the technology and product strategy in alignment with business goals

Lead and grow engineering and product teams, setting technical standards and best practices

Remain hands-on with full-stack development (React, backend frameworks, APIs)

Drive the product roadmap, architecture, and platform scalability

Partner with the CEO on business and technical priorities

Ensure security, reliability, and performance across the platform

Balance short-term delivery with long-term technical vision
Experience & Profile

Senior technical leadership experience within SaaS or technology businesses, ideally in startup or scale-up environments

Strong hands-on full-stack development experience (React and modern web technologies)

Proven track record leading engineering and product teams

Comfortable wearing multiple hats and working in fast-moving environments

Commercially aware and capable of aligning technology with business strategy

Base salary: $220,000 – $275,000

Bonus: Performance-based

PTO: 3 weeks + US public holidays
