As they continue to grow, they are seeking an experienced and driven Business Development Manager to join the team. This is a key role focused on building new business relationships within the public sector, working with high-order values and navigating long sales cycles.

The Role
As our Business Development Manager, you will:
  • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan targeting the public sector.
  • Identify, prospect, and engage decision-makers in government, local authorities, healthcare, and other public entities.
  • Lead complex sales cycles, demonstrating our value proposition and aligning solutions with client needs.
  • Prepare proposals, manage tenders, and negotiate high-value contracts.
  • Build and nurture long-term relationships to ensure client satisfaction and retention.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, public sector regulations, and funding opportunities.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery of services.

What We're Looking For
We want someone who can hit the ground running, so you should have:
  • Proven experience in business development, specifically selling IT services or SaaS solutions into the public sector.
  • A track record of closing high-value deals and managing long sales cycles.
  • Strong knowledge of the public sector procurement process and frameworks.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • A results-driven mindset with a passion for uncovering opportunities and driving growth.
  • The ability to manage multiple opportunities while maintaining focus and attention to detail.
  • A full, valid driving license and willingness to travel across Scotland as required.
