They are seeking a detail-oriented, proactive Bid Manager to lead our RFP (Request for Proposal) and RFI (Request for Information) processes, ensuring our proposals reflect their value, vision, and expertise.
Job Summary:
The Bid Manager will play a central role in managing and delivering high-quality bids in response to RFPs and RFIs. This position requires a deep understanding of SaaS solutions, the ability to collaborate cross-functionally, and strong project management skills to coordinate complex bids within tight deadlines. As Bid Manager, you will work closely with sales, product, and marketing teams to develop compelling responses that address client needs and position our company as a leader in the market.
Key Responsibilities:
- End-to-End Bid Management: Manage the entire bid lifecycle, from RFP/RFI qualification and kick-off to submission and post-bid review.
- RFP/RFI Responses: Lead the preparation, development, and submission of accurate, compelling responses to RFPs and RFIs, ensuring alignment with customer requirements.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with sales, product, and marketing teams to gather insights and technical content that enhance proposal responses.
- Content Development: Develop and maintain a content library of standardized responses, case studies, and solution descriptions for efficient use in proposals.
- Compliance and Quality Assurance: Ensure all proposals meet client specifications, are error-free, and adhere to company standards and branding guidelines.
- Strategic Insights: Analyze RFP/RFI trends, gather feedback from win/loss reviews, and make recommendations to optimize future proposals.
- Client Engagement: Engage with clients to clarify requirements and position our solutions effectively.
- Reporting: Provide regular updates on bid progress, pipeline, and win/loss analysis to senior leadership.
Requirements:
- Experience: 3+ years in bid management, ideally in a SaaS or tech-focused environment, with a strong emphasis on RFP/RFI processes.
- Skills: Exceptional writing, editing, and project management skills; proficiency in proposal management software is a plus.
